Welsh Pride is one of those beers that needs no introduction. A Conwy Brewery icon and our best-selling bitter, this copper-coloured classic has poured pints, sparked conversations and won hearts across North Wales since the very beginning. Now it’s back – and better than ever.
Welsh Pride Draught Pour arrives in can, and with it comes a genuinely different drinking experience. Where the bottled version relied on CO2 carbonation, the Draught Pour format uses nitrogen – the same technology behind the smoothest pints you’ve ever pulled up to a bar for. The result is a softer, creamier mouthfeel with a finer, more persistent head, letting the beer’s toffee malt character and earthy hop balance come through exactly as they were meant to. Less fizz. More flavour. The pint you know and love, wherever you crack it open.
A rich amber pour with a cascading settle, warm biscuit and caramel on the nose, and that clean, satisfying bitter finish — Welsh Pride Draught Pour is the closest thing to a pub pint you’ll find in a can.

Unfiltered / Unpasturised / Naturally Conditioned Ale
Conwy Brewery Ltd was started by Gwynne Thomas in the early 2000’s.
Gwynne, a chemist by trade with a huge interest in ale brewing, started experimenting with recipes and brewing in his garage and home in Llandudno.
At Conwy Brewery we are committed to produce natural, flavourful beers that minimise our impact on the environment.
Solar generation system on the roof of brewery which reduces electricity consumption by approximately 30%.
Spent Grain is re-used as cattle feed.
Waste Beer, Yeast & Hops & Wort is re-used in Anaerobic Digestion to generate Energy.
We use very little water in making our beer with 3 Litres of Water used to produce 1 Litre of beer, this is well below the industry standard of 5:1.
Our cask and bottle beers are naturally conditioned, producing natural yeast liveliness and better tasting beer.
We use as little chemicals as possible and limit filtration to only the Conwy Lager, reducing waste by up to 20% in all our other beers.
I'm a fan of little local breweries so may be a bit biased, but I loved Conwy Brewery.
You'd barely know it was there, but there's an excellent selection of beers on tap, a large indoor seating area (that hosts bands at the weekend) and food trucks in the car park.
Friendly and welcoming, plus you can obviously buy beers to take away too.
Taughting a rich brewing history as one of the first proper breweries in North Wales, Conwy Brewery stands up to the test of time. Their staff are well-informed beer and people enthusiasts. The venue holds the brewery where the magic happens as well as a very decent taproom space for socialising and watching the match. The beer: Great range of quality beers that scream 'beer happy beer drinker'. Go for the San Francisco if you're into modern IPA's; sample the Rapart if your into more sweet and matly sophistication.
Firstly the challenge is to find the Brewery (Mash micropub)(Look at website for opening times) perched on the top of 'heart attack' hill. However the walk is well worth it to be met by friendly staff and a very impressive and great range of cask & keg ales. The bar is fully stocked to cater for all tastes and not just beer drinkers! Lashed together outdoor tables add to the ambiance!! Amazing views well recommended I hope to be back soon!
